SaaS und Fintech machen fast die Hälfte der 2.295 Start-ups in Kolumbien aus

Die Anzahl der Start-ups in Kolumbien wuchs im Jahr 2025 um 9,3 % auf 2.295 aktive Unternehmen, so der Colombia Tech Report 2026 von KPMG.

SaaS repräsentiert 27 % der Gesamtzahl und Fintech 20 %, was sich auf 1.075 Unternehmen summiert. Healthtech belegt mit 202 Firmen den dritten Platz.

Das Ökosystem erhielt im Jahr 2025 Investitionen in Höhe von 857 Millionen Dollar, was 20 % des regionalen Kapitals entspricht. Lokale Fonds trugen 38,5 Millionen Dollar in frühen Phasen bei.

Rodrigo Rivera, Präsident von KPMG Kolumbien, merkte an, dass die Zahl der Unternehmen von 1.100 im Jahr 2021 auf heute 2.295 gestiegen ist. Bogotá und Cundinamarca konzentrieren 46 % der Start-ups auf sich, gefolgt von Antioquia mit 30 %.

The Dane reported that Colombia's GDP rose 2.2% in the first quarter of 2026, below the 2.5% recorded a year earlier. Growth was driven mainly by public spending and household consumption, while sectors such as construction and agriculture posted declines.
