KPMG Kolumbien hat seinen Jahresbericht veröffentlicht, der ein wachsendes Start-up-Ökosystem mit 2.295 aktiven Unternehmen aufzeigt, was einem Anstieg von 9 % gegenüber dem Vorjahr entspricht.

Die Studie zeigt, dass der Bereich Software as a Service mit 610 Start-ups bzw. 27 % der Gesamtzahl führend ist, gefolgt von Fintech-Unternehmen, die insgesamt 465 Firmen umfassen und 20 % ausmachen.

Zu den am stärksten konsolidierten Sektoren gehören Fintech, Climate Tech, Künstliche Intelligenz und Govtech. Bogotá und Cundinamarca konzentrieren 46 % des Ökosystems auf sich, gefolgt von Antioquia mit 30 % und Valle del Cauca mit 11 %.

Die größte identifizierte Herausforderung besteht darin, Unternehmen bei der Skalierung, der internationalen Expansion und der Sicherung stärkerer Kapitalrunden zu unterstützen, um die Nachhaltigkeit zu gewährleisten.
