Berhanu Nega calls for all to play role against exam theft

Education Minister Berhanu Nega urged stakeholders to cooperate to ensure the success of the 12th grade national exam and prevent cheating.

At a consultation held in Addis Ababa on June 19, 2018, Education Minister Berhanu Nega stated that everyone must play their part in creating a generation that rejects exam theft.

The 12th grade national exam runs from June 23 to July 16 both online and on paper. More than 563,000 examinees have registered.

Ethiopian Federal Police Deputy Commissioner General Melaku Fenta said the security sector has made the necessary preparations. The ministry confirmed strict measures will be taken against cheating attempts.
