حث وزير التعليم بيرهانو نيغا المعنيين على التعاون لضمان نجاح امتحانات الصف الثاني عشر الوطنية ومنع الغش.

في جلسة تشاورية عُقدت في أديس أبابا في 19 يونيو 2018، صرح وزير التعليم بيرهانو نيغا بأن على الجميع القيام بدورهم في خلق جيل يرفض سرقة الامتحانات. يمتد امتحان الصف الثاني عشر الوطني من 23 يونيو إلى 16 يوليو، ويُجرى عبر الإنترنت وورقياً. وقد سجل أكثر من 563 ألف طالب لأداء الامتحان. من جانبه، قال نائب المفوض العام للشرطة الفيدرالية الإثيوبية ميلاكو فينتا إن القطاع الأمني اتخذ الاستعدادات اللازمة. وأكدت الوزارة أنه سيتم اتخاذ إجراءات صارمة ضد محاولات الغش.
