Hallan muerto a profesor brasileño en hospital de Buenos Aires

Danilo Neves Pereira, un profesor brasileño de 35 años residente en Argentina, fue hallado muerto en el Hospital Ramos Mejía tras una descompensación. Había ingresado como NN el 15 de abril y fue identificado este lunes por la policía. Investigan las circunstancias sin indicios de violencia.

Danilo Neves Pereira, oriundo de Goiás y con 35 años, residía en Buenos Aires desde hacía seis meses para avanzar en su tesis doctoral. El docente, con 17 años de trayectoria en enseñanza de inglés en la Universidad Federal de Goiás y experiencia en la Universidad de Emory vía Fulbright, también era artista drag como “Zelda, La Reina” y había publicado un libro de cuentos en 2025.

Sus últimas horas lo ubican en un departamento de Avenida de Mayo al 700, donde acordó un encuentro vía app de citas con alguien llamado “Ulises”. Su último mensaje fue registrado cerca de las 4 de la madrugada del 14 de abril. Horas después, el 15 de abril ingresó al Hospital Ramos Mejía con descompensación y falleció al día siguiente.

La autopsia preliminar señaló una descompensación psicotrópica ligada al consumo de cocaína. La División Búsqueda de Personas de la Policía de la Ciudad lo identificó el lunes, y la Fiscalía Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional 17 lidera la pesquisa, analizando cámaras, movimientos y su celular. Fuentes judiciales indicaron que no hay indicios de violencia y el foco está en causas médicas.

Familiares avanzan en la repatriación del cuerpo con apoyo del consulado brasileño.
