La Oficina Central de Investigaciones (CBI, por sus siglas en inglés) ha presentado una acusación formal contra Shubhkamna Buildtech Private Limited y sus directores por un presunto fraude en un proyecto de vivienda en Noida.

La acusación formal señala a la empresa por utilizar garantías falsas para atraer a compradores de viviendas e inversores antes de obtener beneficios económicos a su costa.

El documento fue presentado ante un tribunal competente el 8 de mayo bajo los artículos del Código Penal de la India que abarcan la conspiración criminal, el fraude, el abuso de confianza y la instigación al delito.

Esta medida forma parte de una investigación más amplia de la CBI sobre 50 casos relacionados con constructoras en toda la India, iniciada tras las directrices de la Corte Suprema.

La agencia ha presentado anteriormente acusaciones similares contra otras cinco empresas y sus directores en asuntos comparables.
