Le Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) a déposé un acte d'accusation contre Shubhkamna Buildtech Private Limited et ses administrateurs pour une fraude présumée dans un projet immobilier à Noida.

L'acte d'accusation accuse l'entreprise d'avoir utilisé de fausses promesses pour attirer des acheteurs de logements et des investisseurs avant d'obtenir des gains financiers à leurs dépens. Il a été soumis à un tribunal compétent le 8 mai en vertu des articles du Code pénal indien couvrant l'association de malfaiteurs, l'escroquerie, l'abus de confiance et la complicité. Ce dépôt s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une enquête plus large du CBI portant sur 50 dossiers liés à des promoteurs immobiliers à travers l'Inde, suite aux directives de la Cour suprême. L'agence avait déjà déposé des actes d'accusation similaires contre cinq autres sociétés et leurs administrateurs dans des affaires comparables.
