Chile detiene a cinco militares bolivianos en la frontera de Colchane

Personal militar chileno detuvo a cinco soldados bolivianos que ingresaron al territorio nacional cerca del Salar de Coipasa.

El incidente ocurrió el 18 de junio de 2026 cuando observadores en Colchane detectaron una caravana de vehículos. Patrullas de Carabineros interceptaron a los militares bolivianos a 500 metros dentro de Chile.

Se incautó un vehículo militar Toyota Land Cruiser sin placa, cinco pistolas, un fusil de guerra con munición, tres cartuchos de gas CS y una granada de mano. Los detenidos fueron llevados a la subcomisaría de Colchane.

Las autoridades chilenas no encontraron vínculo con delitos como el contrabando. El armamento y el vehículo serán devueltos a Bolivia por vía diplomática, mientras los cinco militares serán reconducidos al país vecino mediante protocolo con la PDI.
