Formalización de tres excarabineros y 12 civiles se extiende a este lunes en Curanilahue

La formalización de tres excarabineros y 12 civiles acusados de integrar una asociación criminal en Curanilahue se prolongó hasta este lunes 18 de mayo. Los imputados habrían alterado evidencia en sitios de disparos y formaban parte de “La Banda de los Moto”.

Los tres exfuncionarios de Carabineros fueron detenidos el jueves 14 en la cuarta comisaría de Curanilahue, en la provincia de Arauco, Región del Biobío. Según la persecutora regional Marcela Cartagena, el grupo cometía disparos injustificados, homicidios frustrados y robos con violencia.

La jefatura de zona de Carabineros en Biobío informó que personal de Asuntos Internos vinculó a los tres uniformados de la Prefectura de Arauco con hechos presuntamente delictivos. Los imputados habrían intervenido la evidencia en lugares donde ocurrieron disparos en la vía pública.

La ministra de Seguridad, Trinidad Steinert, valoró la respuesta institucional. Los cargos incluyen omisión de denuncia, obstrucción a la investigación, asociación criminal, apropiación indebida de subvenciones y falsificación de instrumento público reiterado. Nueve de los 15 detenidos ya fueron formalizados.
