Fiscalía formalizará a dos haitianos por tráfico de migrantes en agencias de viajes

La Fiscalía Centro Norte formalizará este jueves a dos ciudadanos haitianos vinculados a las agencias Mundo Pam y Cananeen por los delitos de tráfico de migrantes, lavado de activos y asociación ilícita.

La Policía de Investigaciones ejecutó órdenes de allanamiento en las agencias de viaje investigadas por hechos registrados en 2024. Como resultado de esas diligencias, se concretó la detención de los dos imputados.

Los hechos investigados datan del año 2024 y no mantienen relación directa con las situaciones reportadas por Contraloría en su reciente informe. Los implicados se dedicaban al tráfico ilícito de migrantes desde Haití, pasando por República Dominicana, hasta llegar a Chile, incluyendo menores de edad.

La formalización de los cargos se desarrollará ante el Séptimo Juzgado de Garantía de Santiago durante la mañana de este jueves.
