Gobernador de Durango niega vínculos con el narco

Esteban Villegas Villarreal rechazó cualquier investigación en su contra por narcotráfico y defendió los niveles de seguridad en el estado.

El gobernador de Durango, Esteban Villegas Villarreal, negó tener conocimiento de investigaciones por narcotráfico en México o Estados Unidos.

Villegas afirmó que no cuenta con ningún documento de la Fiscalía General de la República ni de autoridades estadounidenses que lo vinculen con algún procedimiento.

El mandatario destacó que Durango se mantiene entre las cinco entidades con mejor seguridad del país, sin casos de secuestro ni trata de personas, pese a su cercanía con estados con problemas de violencia.

Invitó a los medios a visitar la entidad para constatar las condiciones de seguridad.
