Dylan McLaughlin joins Timrå IK from Växjö Lakers

Timrå IK has signed center Dylan McLaughlin from Växjö Lakers on a two-year contract. The player, who spent three seasons with Växjö, will join the team's spring training. Sports director Kent Norberg praised McLaughlin's consistent performance and playing style.

Dylan McLaughlin spent the past three seasons with Växjö Lakers, where he recorded 22 points in 52 regular-season games during the campaign that ended with a semifinal loss to Rögle. He added three points in ten playoff matches that season. Now, he moves to Timrå IK to bolster their center position ahead of spring training. Timrå sports director Kent Norberg emphasized McLaughlin's qualities in a statement on the club's website. “Dylan is a center who has performed consistently over several seasons,” Norberg said. “We see him bringing energy, responsibility, and a playing style that fits very well with how we want to play.” McLaughlin expressed enthusiasm about the move. “I am very happy to join Timrå IK,” he said. “It feels like a good environment for me to continue developing, and I look forward to contributing my game and energy to the team. I have heard great things about the fans and really look forward to playing in SCA Arena.” The contract covers the two upcoming seasons.
