El PMI de servicios del ISM sube a 54,5 en mayo

El Institute for Supply Management informó que su Índice de Gestores de Compras (PMI) de servicios de mayo se situó en 54,5. El resultado superó las expectativas y marcó una expansión continua en el sector.

El índice compuesto principal se situó por encima de la previsión de 53,7. También reflejó el quinto mes consecutivo de ganancias en el promedio de 12 meses del PMI, que alcanzó el 52,8 por ciento tras subir 1,1 puntos desde diciembre de 2025. La actividad empresarial registró su segundo nivel más alto desde octubre de 2024. Ninguna materia prima apareció en la lista de precios a la baja por tercer mes consecutivo. El aluminio, el cobre, el diésel, la gasolina, las licencias de software y el transporte permanecieron en la lista de precios al alza con rachas de varios meses.
