PMI de serviços do ISM sobe para 54,5 em maio

O Institute for Supply Management informou que seu Índice de Gerentes de Compras (PMI) de serviços de maio ficou em 54,5. O resultado superou as expectativas e marcou a continuidade da expansão no setor.

O índice composto principal ficou acima da previsão de 53,7. Ele também refletiu o quinto mês consecutivo de ganhos na média de 12 meses do PMI, que atingiu 52,8 por cento após subir 1,1 ponto desde dezembro de 2025. A atividade empresarial registrou seu segundo nível mais alto desde outubro de 2024. Nenhuma commodity apareceu na lista de queda de preços pelo terceiro mês consecutivo. Alumínio, cobre, diesel, gasolina, licenciamento de software e transporte permaneceram na lista de aumento de preços com sequências de vários meses.
