La Policía Militar detiene a una banda dedicada a estafas de premios falsos en Itanhaém

La Policía Militar detuvo a cinco personas y aprehendió a un adolescente en un centro de llamadas clandestino en Itanhaém, en la costa de São Paulo, este sábado (18 de abril). La banda se hacía pasar por un programa de televisión para engañar a sus víctimas con premios falsos y exigir pagos a través de Pix. El grupo confesó obtener ganancias de entre 5.000 y 10.000 reales diarios.

La Policía Militar (PM), a través del 29º Batallón de Policía Militar del Interior (BPM/I), realizó las detenciones tras recibir una denuncia anónima en una vivienda de la calle Maceió, en el barrio Jardim Coronel, en Itanhaém. Los sospechosos se hacían pasar por miembros de un programa de televisión, comunicando a las víctimas que habían ganado premios. Para 'liberar' dichos premios, exigían pagos mediante Pix de entre 500 y 1.000 reales, ajustando el monto según la reacción de las víctimas. Según los detenidos, el esquema generaba entre 5.000 y 10.000 reales al día. La investigación reveló el uso de cuentas bancarias de terceros, conocidas como 'cuentas puente' (laranjas), y datos personales obtenidos de otros estafadores que operaban sorteos falsos en línea. La policía incautó 11 teléfonos móviles, cuatro portátiles, cuatro auriculares, una pistola de aire comprimido y artículos relacionados con drogas. Los seis sospechosos fueron trasladados a la comisaría de policía del distrito de Itanhaém. El caso fue registrado como asociación delictiva, estafa calificada y corrupción de menores.
