Neiva celebra sus 414 años de fundación

La capital del Huila conmemora hoy su aniversario con una serie de actividades cívicas y culturales organizadas por la Alcaldía.

La Alcaldía de Neiva, bajo el liderazgo del alcalde German Casagua Bonilla, programó una jornada de actividades para celebrar los 414 años de fundación de la ciudad.

El código de vestuario establecido es formal blanco. Las actividades incluyen una eucaristía a las 8:00 de la mañana en la iglesia colonial del centro, seguida de un desfile cívico y folclórico que inicia en el Centro de Convenciones José Eustasio Rivera.

El desfile recorre varias calles hasta llegar al Parque Santander, donde a las 9:00 de la mañana se realizará una ofrenda floral al busto de Diego de Ospina y Medinilla, fundador de Neiva en 1612.
