Corhuila celebra 33 años de vida institucional

La Corporación Universitaria del Huila conmemoró sus 33 años de vida institucional en un acto realizado en el Auditorio Club Los Lagos de Neiva.

Directivos, docentes, estudiantes, egresados y autoridades locales participaron en la celebración. La institución recibió reconocimientos de la Cámara de Comercio del Huila y la Alcaldía de Neiva por su aporte a la educación y el desarrollo regional.

El presidente del Consejo Superior, Jairo Toro Rodríguez, recordó los inicios de la universidad y afirmó: “Hoy celebramos 33 años de sueños que encontraron un camino”. Destacó que la entidad cuenta con más de 7.400 estudiantes y más de 12.000 egresados.

El rector Óscar Eduardo Chávarro señaló los retos actuales de la educación superior. Mencionó la implementación de modalidades virtuales e híbridas y el avance hacia la acreditación de alta calidad. La ceremonia incluyó la bendición de monseñor Marco Antonio Merchán Ladino.
