Corhuila feiert 33-jähriges Bestehen

Die Corporación Universitaria del Huila feierte ihr 33-jähriges Bestehen während einer Veranstaltung im Auditorio Club Los Lagos in Neiva.

Direktoren, Lehrkräfte, Studierende, Ehemalige und lokale Behörden nahmen an der Feier teil. Die Institution erhielt Anerkennungen von der Cámara de Comercio del Huila und der Alcaldía de Neiva für ihren Beitrag zur Bildung und zur regionalen Entwicklung.

Der Ratspräsident Jairo Toro Rodríguez erinnerte an die Anfänge der Universität und erklärte: „Heute feiern wir 33 Jahre voller Träume, die ihren Weg gefunden haben“. Er merkte an, dass die Einrichtung heute mehr als 7.400 Studierende betreut und über 12.000 Alumni zählt.

Rektor Óscar Eduardo Chávarro hob die aktuellen Herausforderungen in der Hochschulbildung hervor. Er erwähnte die Einführung virtueller und hybrider Studienmodelle sowie die Fortschritte in Richtung einer qualitativ hochwertigen Akkreditierung. Die Zeremonie schloss mit einem Segen durch Monsignore Marco Antonio Merchán Ladino.
