Aumenta percepción de conflictos con vecinos y familiares en México, según Inegi

El Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) reportó que en el primer trimestre de 2026, el 38.2% de las personas mayores de 18 años en México experimentaron conflictos con familiares, vecinos, compañeros de trabajo o escuela, o funcionarios públicos. Esto representa un aumento respecto al 36.3% del mismo periodo de 2025. La Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad Pública Urbana destaca variaciones por zonas urbanas.

El Inegi publicó datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad Pública Urbana (ENSU) para el primer trimestre de 2026, revelando un incremento en la proporción de adultos involucrados en disputas interpersonales.

Entre las zonas con mayores alzas se encuentran Tapachula, que pasó del 15.1% en el cuarto trimestre de 2025 al 33.2%; Santa Catarina, del 23.1% al 44.4%; y San Nicolás de los Garza, del 18.4% al 34.1%.

Por el contrario, en Fresnillo, Zacatecas, los conflictos bajaron del 18.3% al 10.5%; en León de los Aldama, Guanajuato, del 46.0% al 30.5%; y en Azcapotzalco, Ciudad de México, del 49.1% al 34.6%.

De las personas con conflictos, el 72.2% los tuvo con vecinos y el 34% con desconocidos. Las causas comunes incluyen quema de basura, disputas por estacionamiento, mascotas, chismes, ebriedad, ambulantaje, cuotas vecinales impagas, grafitis y trámites administrativos.
