El grupo Pommery inicia negociaciones con Henkell ante sus niveles críticos de deuda

La casa de champán Vranken-Pommery, rebautizada como Pommery & Associés, ha anunciado el inicio de negociaciones exclusivas con el especialista alemán Henkell para la venta de una participación mayoritaria.

El grupo con sede en Reims, propiedad de la familia Vranken, se encuentra al borde de la quiebra debido a un endeudamiento excesivo. Incapaz de reembolsar un vencimiento de bonos de 45 millones de euros, la compañía vende entre 18 y 20 millones de botellas al año.
