Rufián se ofrece a liderar una candidatura de izquierda si une a las fuerzas progresistas

Gabriel Rufián, portavoz de ERC en el Congreso, afirmó este miércoles que aceptaría encabezar una lista en las próximas elecciones generales si contribuyera a unir a las izquierdas soberanistas y estatales.

Durante un coloquio en el Club Siglo XXI de Madrid, Rufián señaló que lideraría una candidatura si ello maximizara los resultados electorales y exclamó: "¡pa'lante!". Añadió que no depende de él y mencionó a otros posibles líderes como Irene Montero y Pablo Bustinduy.

El dirigente republicano insistió en que las izquierdas españolas "son un problema" y que corresponde a las formaciones arraigadas en el territorio liderar el momento político actual. También lanzó un mensaje a Oriol Junqueras al afirmar que no volverá a presentarse por ERC sin que se cumplan ciertas condiciones relacionadas con el grupo parlamentario.

Rufián aclaró que no reclamará elecciones generales por la imputación de José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero salvo que se demuestre financiación ilegal en el PSOE. Subrayó que mantendrá su militancia en ERC hasta que lo echen del partido.
