Segundo ministro del gabinete sudafricano implicado en escándalo de todoterrenos chinos

El portavoz de Ramokgopa, Phetole Rampedi, declaró: "La ministra nunca ha recibido ningún automóvil de funcionarios chinos". Los investigadores rastrearon un BAIC X55 amarillo registrado a nombre de su hijo, Xhantilomzi Ntuli, el 30 de enero de 2024. Fuentes alegan que otro fue utilizado por su madre en Limpopo y un tercero por asociados de Luvo Makasi en un municipio del Cabo Oriental cerca de Whittlesea, donde los residentes confirmaron haber visto un BAIC X55 rojo vinculado a la familia Makasi.

Ramokgopa, estrecha aliada del presidente Cyril Ramaphosa y miembro de los siete altos cargos del ANC, visitó una planta de BAIC en Gqeberha en mayo de 2025.
