Starlink supera los 150 mil clientes en Chile

Starlink alcanzó 156.623 suscriptores al cierre del primer trimestre de 2026 en Chile, según datos de Subtel. Esto representa un crecimiento del 81,4% en doce meses.

Las cifras de la Subsecretaría de Telecomunicaciones indican que Starlink pasó de 86.343 clientes en marzo de 2025 a 156.623 al término de marzo de 2026. La compañía representa el 3,22% de las 4.859.679 conexiones de internet fijo del país.

La fibra óptica domina el mercado con 4,1 millones de conexiones, equivalentes al 85,3% del total. Starlink concentra el 84,2% de la categoría de otras tecnologías, que incluye 195.299 suscriptores en total.

Hughes Net, su principal competidor, reportó 4.409 conexiones, una caída del 26,1% frente al año anterior. Se espera que el servicio Leo de Amazon ingrese al mercado a mediados de 2026 a través de Directv.
