La exministra del Interior Carolina Tohá admitió que hubo fallas en el manejo de la promesa de condonar el CAE bajo la administración de Gabriel Boric. Realizó las declaraciones el jueves durante la presentación de un libro.

Carolina Tohá, exministra del Interior del gobierno de Gabriel Boric, afirmó que “claramente en el gobierno hubo errores en cómo se manejó esa promesa, es verdad”. Las declaraciones ocurrieron el 11 de junio de 2026 durante la presentación del libro de Mario Marcel.

Tohá señaló que la actual administración de José Antonio Kast debe cobrar las deudas pero “no pueden hacerlo de la manera en que lo están haciendo”. Agregó que el debate debe ir más allá de los mecanismos de cobro hacia una solución sostenible para el financiamiento de la educación superior.
