A train malfunction occurred on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line between Shibuya and Omotesando stations around 10:13 a.m. on February 25. This led to a suspension of service on the Hanzomon Line between Kudanshita and Oshiage stations. The Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, which shares direct connections, also suspended operations between Shibuya and Futako-tamagawa stations.

The issue was resolved after approximately one and a half hours, with the Hanzomon Line resuming operations around 11:42 a.m. The Den-en-toshi Line likewise ended its temporary suspensions on affected sections and returned to normal. Tokyo Metro and Tokyu Corporation have not yet disclosed details on the cause of the malfunction.

As a key north-south route through central Tokyo, the Hanzomon Line's disruption during morning rush hours likely caused inconvenience to commuters. Authorities are investigating the incident.
