Marni creative director Meryll Rogge and CEO Stefano Rosso spoke about the Italian label's direction during a discussion at the Vogue Business Global Summit in Chantilly, France.
The pair addressed the brand's focus on women's ready-to-wear and its roots in founder Consuelo Castiglioni's vision. Rogge, who joined in a recent creative reset at the OTB-owned house, highlighted her connection to Marni since buying shoes with her first paycheck in 2008 at Marc Jacobs.
