Trillanes hinikayat si Robredo na i-endorse si Aquino o Hontiveros sa 2028

Sinabi ni dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV na dapat i-endorse ni Leni Robredo si Bam Aquino o Risa Hontiveros para sa 2028 presidential race matapos niyang magdesisyong manatili sa lokal na pulitika. Inihayag din ni Trillanes na ang Magdalo group ay sumusuporta kay Hontiveros para sa pagkapangulo. “We have evaluated the prospective candidates and we want to push for Sen. Risa for president. She has the qualifications. Tumitindig, lumalaban, ipaglalaban ka,” pahayag niya. Nilinaw niya na kapwa magagaling sina Robredo at Hontiveros subalit may pagkakaiba: “si Mayor Leni, ipaglalaban mo. Si Sen. Risa, ipaglalaban ka.”

Lumilitaw ang pangalan ni Robredo sa mga maagang survey tulad ng OCTA Research, ngunit wala pang tugon siya sa mungkahi ni Trillanes.
