Le conseil municipal d'Ambon a demandé aux chefs de district de renforcer la surveillance et l'application de la réglementation sur les bâtiments sans permis afin de protéger l'aménagement du territoire et la sécurité. M. Fadli Toisuta, vice-président de la Commission I, a souligné que la surveillance insuffisante au niveau des districts était un problème majeur.

M. Fadli Toisuta, vice-président de la Commission I au conseil municipal d'Ambon, a qualifié les constructions sans permis de préoccupation sérieuse. "C'est notre responsabilité dans le cadre de notre fonction de surveillance. Nous ne voulons pas que de nouveaux problèmes surgissent de telles situations", a-t-il déclaré mercredi à Ambon. Il a noté de nombreux signalements publics concernant l'empiétement sur les terrains et les constructions non autorisées. Cela exige que les chefs de district agissent de manière proactive en effectuant des inspections sur le terrain pour garantir la conformité. "Les chefs de district ne doivent pas attendre les signalements, mais se rendre directement sur place. Ne laissez pas les incidents se produire avant que les rapports n'atteignent le conseil", a souligné Fadli. De telles infractions perturbent la sécurité environnementale et l'ordre urbain, pouvant mener à des sanctions administratives ou à la démolition.
