Un juge rejette la demande de Mazón d'intervenir dans l'affaire du DANA

Le magistrat du tribunal de Catarroja a rejeté la demande de l'ancien président de la Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, de se constituer partie dans la procédure en tant que personne faisant l'objet d'une enquête.

Dans une ordonnance rendue publique vendredi, le magistrat instructeur a confirmé le statut de témoin de Mazón et a rejeté sa demande d'accès anticipé au dossier. Le juge a déclaré que l'acceptation de cette demande contredirait sa position procédurale actuelle.

Le magistrat a rappelé que Mazón s'était déjà vu offrir trois occasions de se joindre à la procédure en vertu de l'article 118 bis de la Lecrim. Elle a ajouté que les documents qu'il sollicitait figurent déjà dans l'appel traité par le ministère public.

Le Tribunal supérieur de justice de la Communauté valencienne a suspendu le témoignage prévu le 25 mai du directeur d'un centre de jour de Picanya et a convoqué à la place la maire de Torrent, Amparo Folgado.
