Le ministère public demande l'abandon d'un chef d'accusation dans le procès de David Sánchez

L'audience provinciale de Badajoz a ouvert aujourd'hui le procès contre David Sánchez Pérez-Castejón et dix autres prévenus pour prévarication et trafic d'influence concernant des embauches effectuées en 2017.

Le ministère public s'est opposé à l'annulation de l'affaire mais a soutenu la prescription du chef d'accusation d'acceptation de nomination illégale à l'encontre de David Sánchez. Il a également appuyé l'exclusion de Miguel Ángel Gallardo concernant la nomination d'un conseiller.

La défense de Sánchez a dénoncé une enquête prospective basée sur des coupures de presse et a demandé l'annulation de la procédure pour violation des droits. La cour a rejeté la récusation de ses membres et statuera sur les questions préliminaires lundi.

Le procès se poursuivra avec l'audition de 42 témoins et durera au moins jusqu'aux 9 et 10 juin. David Sánchez est entré dans le bâtiment par la porte dérobée pour éviter les médias.
