Il giudice respinge la richiesta di Mazón di costituirsi parte nel caso DANA

Il magistrato del tribunale di Catarroja ha respinto la richiesta dell'ex presidente della Generalitat Carlos Mazón di unirsi al procedimento come parte indagata.

In un'ordinanza resa pubblica venerdì, il magistrato inquirente ha confermato lo status di testimone di Mazón e ha respinto la sua richiesta di accesso anticipato agli atti del procedimento. Il giudice ha dichiarato che accogliere tale richiesta sarebbe in contraddizione con la sua attuale posizione processuale.

Il magistrato ha ricordato che a Mazón erano già state offerte tre opportunità di unirsi al procedimento ai sensi dell'articolo 118 bis della Lecrim. Ha aggiunto che i documenti richiesti sono già inclusi nel ricorso in fase di elaborazione da parte della Procura.

Il Tribunale Superiore di Giustizia della Comunità Valenciana ha sospeso la testimonianza, prevista per il 25 maggio, del direttore di un centro diurno di Picanya e ha invece convocato il sindaco di Torrent, Amparo Folgado.
