L'autoroute de Nairobi offre un accès nocturne temporaire sans péage

Les automobilistes circulant entre le quartier central des affaires de Nairobi et Westlands pourront emprunter l'autoroute de Nairobi sans frais pendant deux nuits, en raison des travaux en cours sur Waiyaki Way.

La société Moja Expressway a annoncé cette gratuité jeudi 7 mai. Elle s'applique spécifiquement aux véhicules entrant par l'accès Haile Selassie, près du rond-point Bunyala, et sortant à la sortie Nairobi Westlands. Cette mesure est en vigueur de 21h à 6h, les nuits de jeudi et de vendredi. Toutes les autres gares de péage de l'autoroute continuent d'appliquer les tarifs habituels. La société a précisé que ce changement vise à atténuer les perturbations liées aux travaux de construction entre le GTC et la zone d'ICEA Lion sur Waiyaki Way. Les automobilistes sont invités à suivre la signalisation et à coopérer avec les agents de circulation déployés.
