Détention provisoire ordonnée pour un conducteur ayant renversé une motocycliste à Iquique

Le tribunal des garanties d'Iquique a ordonné la détention provisoire d'un conducteur qui a renversé une motocycliste et l'a traînée sur son capot. L'incident a eu lieu en décembre dernier et la victime a subi des blessures légères.

L'incident s'est produit dans l'après-midi du 20 décembre sur la rue Colo Colo à Iquique. La procureure Jocelyn Pacheco a expliqué que le prévenu a percuté la victime à trois reprises alors qu'elle circulait sur un scooter, avant de lui reprocher de rouler trop lentement.

Lorsque la femme a déclaré qu'elle appellerait les Carabineros, le conducteur a avancé vers elle. Elle a sauté sur le capot pour éviter d'être écrasée et a été traînée sur plusieurs pâtés de maisons tandis que le véhicule zigzaguait.

Le tribunal a accédé à la demande du ministère public et a ordonné la détention provisoire dimanche. Il a également fixé un délai de 60 jours pour enquêter sur les chefs d'accusation de tentative d'homicide, dommages simples et délit de fuite.
