Prisão preventiva decretada para motorista que atropelou motociclista em Iquique

O Tribunal de Garantia de Iquique ordenou a prisão preventiva de um motorista que atropelou uma motociclista e a arrastou sobre o capô. O incidente ocorreu em dezembro passado e a vítima sofreu ferimentos leves.

O incidente ocorreu na tarde de 20 de dezembro na rua Colo Colo, em Iquique. A promotora Jocelyn Pacheco explicou que o réu atingiu a vítima três vezes enquanto ela conduzia uma motocicleta do tipo scooter e, em seguida, a repreendeu por estar trafegando devagar.

Quando a mulher disse que chamaria os Carabineros, o motorista avançou em direção a ela. A vítima saltou sobre o capô para evitar ser atropelada e foi arrastada por vários quarteirões enquanto o veículo ziguezagueava.

O tribunal acatou o pedido do Ministério Público e ordenou a prisão preventiva no domingo. Também foi estabelecido um prazo de 60 dias para investigar os crimes de homicídio frustrado, danos simples e omissão de socorro após o acidente.
