Ángela Vivanco deixa prisão preventiva e passa para prisão domiciliar total

A ex-ministra da Suprema Corte, Ángela Vivanco, deixou o presídio de San Joaquín nesta sexta-feira após 133 dias em detenção preventiva. A Corte de Apelações de Santiago revogou a medida por motivos de saúde e pela situação de sua mãe.

Pouco antes das 18h de sexta-feira, 12 de junho de 2026, Vivanco deixou o Centro Penitenciário Feminino de San Joaquín. Ela estava detida no local desde 30 de janeiro como parte da investigação do caso Bielorrusa.

A Corte de Apelações de Santiago revogou a prisão preventiva e determinou a prisão domiciliar total. A ex-juíza de 63 anos explicou que tem câncer e precisa realizar exames médicos que não podem ser feitos no hospital da prisão.

Vivanco declarou: “Como sempre disse, declaro-me inocente. Quero me defender em um julgamento justo”. Ela cumprirá a medida em um apartamento alugado por seu companheiro e solicitará autorizações para visitar sua mãe de 86 anos.
