Ángela Vivanco sale de prisión preventiva y pasa a arresto domiciliario total

La exministra de la Corte Suprema Ángela Vivanco abandonó este viernes la cárcel de San Joaquín tras 133 días en prisión preventiva. La Corte de Apelaciones de Santiago revocó la medida por motivos de salud y la situación de su madre.

Poco antes de las 18:00 horas del viernes 12 de junio de 2026, Vivanco salió del Centro Penitenciario Femenino de San Joaquín. Permanecía allí desde el 30 de enero por la investigación de la trama bielorrusa.

La Corte de Apelaciones de Santiago aceptó revocar la prisión preventiva y dictó arresto domiciliario total. La exmagistrada de 63 años explicó que padece cáncer y requiere exámenes que no se pueden realizar en el hospital penal.

Vivanco declaró: “Como siempre lo he dicho, me declaro inocente. Quiero defenderme en un juicio justo”. Cumplirá la medida en un departamento arrendado por su pareja y solicitará permisos para visitar a su madre de 86 años.
