Prisión preventiva decretada para conductor que atropelló a motorista en Iquique

El Juzgado de Garantía de Iquique decretó prisión preventiva para un conductor que arrolló a una motorista y la arrastró sobre su capó. El hecho ocurrió en diciembre pasado y la víctima sufrió lesiones menos graves.

El hecho ocurrió la tarde del 20 de diciembre en la calle Colo Colo de Iquique. La fiscal Jocelyn Pacheco explicó que el imputado colisionó tres veces a la víctima que iba en una motocicleta scooter y luego la recriminó por ir despacio.

Cuando la mujer dijo que llamaría a Carabineros, el conductor avanzó contra ella. Ella saltó al capó para evitar ser atropellada y fue arrastrada varias cuadras mientras el vehículo zigzagueaba.

El tribunal aceptó la solicitud de la Fiscalía y decretó la reclusión preventiva el domingo. También fijó un plazo de 60 días para investigar los delitos de homicidio frustrado, daños simples y no dar cuenta del accidente.
