La police sud-africaine intensifie ses recherches pour retrouver des suspects de crimes de haut niveau

La commissaire nationale de police par intérim, Puleng Dimpane, a ordonné des opérations policières à l'échelle nationale pour traquer les suspects impliqués dans plusieurs affaires criminelles majeures en Afrique du Sud.

La lieutenante-générale Puleng Dimpane a déclaré que la lutte du pays contre la criminalité est loin d'être terminée. Elle a donné pour instruction aux agents de se concentrer sur des opérations basées sur le renseignement afin d'appréhender les individus impliqués dans de récents incidents graves. Les affaires faisant l'objet d'une enquête active incluent un vol à main armée au domicile de l'ancienne ministre du Cabinet Naledi Pandor, le meurtre de sept personnes à Khayamandi, Stellenbosch, ainsi que l'assassinat d'un couple dans la section Pafuri du parc national Kruger. Le véhicule du couple est toujours porté disparu. Dimpane a confirmé que le SAPS déploiera toutes les ressources nécessaires pour traduire les auteurs en justice. Cette directive a été émise le 23 mai 2026.
