Des créateurs de Sea of Thieves se retirent suite à des allégations d'inconduite

Près d'une douzaine de membres du programme de partenariat de Sea of Thieves ont démissionné à la suite d'allégations d'abus sexuels sur mineur visant l'un des « Boatswains » désignés du jeu. Les accusations visent le créateur Bruno, connu sous le pseudonyme Heslashthem en jeu, et ont suscité des reproches selon lesquels l'équipe de modération de Rare aurait tenté de supprimer les discussions à ce sujet. Rare a répondu en déclarant qu'elle enquêtait sur les signalements mais ne pouvait pas commenter les cas individuels.

Des créateurs de contenu, dont Phuzzy, HitboTC, Ozurian, TotallyFluxxx, NessieDoes, AShinyRayquaza et Captain Falcore, ont annoncé leur départ du programme de partenariat au cours des trois derniers jours. Ils ont cité de nouvelles allégations compilées dans un document mis à jour intitulé « The Bruno Files », qui inclut des captures d'écran présumées de Bruno sollicitant des images explicites auprès d'une personne mineure sur Discord. Bruno a depuis supprimé ses comptes en ligne, et le compte Sea of Thieves du créateur a été banni du serveur Discord officiel.
