La SEBI impose une amende de 10 millions de roupies à CDSL

Le Securities and Exchange Board of India a infligé une amende de 10 millions de roupies à Central Depository Services (India) Ltd pour des défaillances opérationnelles et de cybersécurité. Cette sanction fait suite à une attaque par logiciel malveillant qui a perturbé les systèmes du dépositaire.

Le régulateur a relevé des manquements dans la sécurisation des systèmes critiques, lesquels ont entraîné des perturbations opérationnelles. CDSL a isolé ses systèmes du marché après l'incident.

Aucune sanction financière n'a été imposée aux anciens hauts responsables.

Cette mesure concerne le respect des exigences en matière de cybersécurité pour les institutions d'infrastructure de marché.
