Trois universités étrangères autorisées à ouvrir des campus en Inde

Le ministère fédéral de l'Éducation a délivré le 9 juin des lettres d'approbation à l'université de Bristol, à l'université de York et à l'université de Nouvelle-Galles du Sud pour l'ouverture de nouveaux campus en Inde.

Les lettres ont été remises par Vineet Joshi, secrétaire du département de l'Enseignement supérieur et président de l'University Grants Commission, en présence du ministre de l'Éducation, Dharmendra Pradhan. Bristol et York établiront des campus à Mumbai. L'UNSW ouvrira son campus de Bengaluru au Manyata Business Park à partir d'août 2026. M. Pradhan a déclaré que cette mesure fait progresser les objectifs d'internationalisation de la Politique nationale d'éducation de 2020. Les campus proposeront des programmes dans des domaines tels que la finance, la science des données, l'informatique avec intelligence artificielle et la cybersécurité.
