Drei ausländische Universitäten erhalten Zulassung für Campus in Indien

Das indische Bildungsministerium stellte am 9. Juni Zulassungsschreiben für die University of Bristol, die University of York und die University of New South Wales für neue Campus-Standorte in Indien aus.

Die Schreiben wurden von Vineet Joshi, Sekretär des Ministeriums für Hochschulbildung und Vorsitzender der University Grants Commission, im Beisein von Bildungsminister Dharmendra Pradhan übergeben. Bristol und York werden ihre Campus in Mumbai errichten. Die UNSW wird ihren Campus in Bengaluru im Manyata Business Park ab August 2026 eröffnen. Pradhan erklärte, dass dieser Schritt die Internationalisierungsziele der National Education Policy 2020 voranbringe. Die Standorte werden Programme in Bereichen wie Finanzwesen, Datenwissenschaft, Informatik mit Schwerpunkt künstliche Intelligenz sowie Cybersicherheit anbieten.
