Des chercheurs ont décrit une nouvelle espèce de limace de mer découverte au large de la côte nord de Taïwan. La minuscule créature, plus petite qu'une graine de sésame, a été nommée Thecacera sesama en raison de ses marques distinctives.

Ce nudibranche translucide mesure moins de trois millimètres de long et présente des motifs noirs et jaunes. Il a été repéré pour la première fois en 2019 par Ho-Yeung Chan lors d'une plongée récréative près de Keelung, alors qu'il était étudiant de premier cycle à l'Université nationale océanique de Taïwan.
