Des agences américaines s'engagent à soutenir le projet aéroportuaire de Bishoftu

L'Éthiopie a obtenu un soutien majeur de la part d'agences gouvernementales, d'institutions financières et d'entreprises américaines pour la construction de l'aéroport international de Bishoftu. Ces institutions ont annoncé leur soutien via la feuille de route financière de Washington. Les responsables ont décrit ce projet comme l'un des projets aéronautiques phares en Afrique.

Le ministre des Finances, Ahmed Shide, a déclaré que l'aéroport de Bishoftu servirait de plaque tournante pour le commerce et l'investissement. Il a souligné que ce projet renforce les liens bilatéraux entre les deux pays et ouvre de larges opportunités commerciales aux entreprises américaines au-delà des réformes économiques.

Le PDG de l'Ethiopian Airports Enterprise, Mesfin Tasew, a déclaré que le partenariat avec les institutions américaines permet de répondre à la demande croissante en matière de transport international. La directrice financière de la Banque de développement africaine, Hassatu Selle, a mis en avant les bases solides, la faisabilité et l'impact régional du projet. Elle a ajouté que ce projet renforce la compétitivité et favorise un développement durable à travers l'Afrique.
