Cali mayor's office announces 15% discount on 2026 property tax

Cali's mayor's office has introduced a 15% discount on the unified property tax for 2026, valid until April 30, to encourage early payments and bolster municipal finances. The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on taxpayers while funding public works and services.

Cali's mayor's office, through the Administrative Department of Finance, announced on January 21, 2026, a fiscal benefit that cuts 15% from the unified property tax value for that year. The discount applies to all taxpayers who make payments within the set deadline, up to April 30, easing compliance and promoting family financial planning.

The main goal is to generate funds for infrastructure projects, social programs, and essential public services in the city. According to the District Administration, 93% of the bills are already available for consultation and download on the official municipal website, with the remainder enabled by the end of January.

Jhon Quinchua Ceballos, the Finance director, emphasized the value of such incentives: “When Cali residents take advantage of these benefits, we all win.” He urged citizens to join in building a more sustainable city.

To access the discount, users can visit www.cali.gov.co, select 'Printing bills for tax payments,' go to 'Featured procedures,' and search for property tax. By entering the property ID, they can consult and download the bill for online or in-person payment. In-person options include the Taxpayer Attention Center at CAM (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday), though it will temporarily move to Torre de Cali due to remodeling works. The Local Integrated Attention Centers (CALI) are also available, along with WhatsApp at 3209546106 and email at tabuladopredial@cali.gov.co for support.

This initiative digitizes the process, avoiding unnecessary travel and ensuring service continuity during the upgrades.
