韓国とアフリカ50カ国の外相が月曜日、韓国・アフリカ外相会議に出席するためソウルに集まり、関係強化と地球規模の課題への対応について協議した。

会議の閉幕時には共同声明が発表される予定である。また、会議の合間には趙外相とアフリカ各国の閣僚との二国間会談も予定されている。
火曜日には約300人のビジネスリーダーが参加する「韓国・アフリカ・ビジネスフォーラム」が開催される。基調講演は、現代自動車のソン・キム社長とAfCFTAのワンケレ・ケベツウェ・メネ事務局長が務める。
