Around 90,000 visitors celebrated the Rock am Ring festival from June 5 to 7 at the Nürburgring in the Eifel.
The event, sold out since autumn 2025, featured around 70 acts on three stages. Friday saw performances by Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach. Saturday brought Electric Callboy, Volbeat and Bad Omens. The Offspring and Iron Maiden closed the festival on Sunday. The festival turned 41 this year. A first headliner for 2027 was already announced: Blink-182. Despite occasionally poor weather, visitors stayed in good spirits. Many enjoyed mosh pits and crowdsurfing, while Tom Morello drew attention with the message «Nazis raus» on his guitar. There was criticism over too few toilets and showers. The organizers stated on Instagram that capacities were the same as last year and partly expanded. Police reported a low level of crime. Emergency services recorded around 740 operations.
