중국이 연구선 '쑹항(Song Hang)'호에서 세계 최초라고 주장하는 지능형 오징어 낚시 로봇을 시험했다.
이 스마트 기계는 오징어를 유인하기 위해 인간의 동작을 모방하며 오징어의 입질 방식에 따라 행동을 조정할 수 있다. 기존 오징어 채낚기 어선의 자동화 장비보다 더 정밀하게 작동하도록 설계되었다.
이 로봇은 상하이해양대학교와 중국어업저우산해양어업유한공사가 공동 개발했다. 현재 6월 8일 상하이 인근 창싱섬을 출항한 쑹항호에서 해상 시험이 진행 중이다.
해당 선박은 9월까지 이어질 예정인 북서태평양 수산 자원 조사를 90일간 수행하고 있다. 중국은 세계 최대 수산물 생산국이며 대규모 원양어선단을 운영하고 있다.
