상하이에 본사를 둔 피직스 AI(Fysics AI)는 수요일 차세대 물리 기반 월드 모델인 '피지버스(Fysiverse)' 출시를 발표했다.
이 모델은 엔비디아(Nvidia) 출신 고위 관리자 장 리화(Zhang Lihua)가 설립한 이 스타트업에 의해 개발되었다. 물리 법칙을 코드에 직접 내장하여 기존 모델에서 흔히 발생하는 물리적 환상, 추론 실패, 비표준 시나리오에서의 오류 문제 등을 해결한다.
피직스 AI는 위챗(WeChat) 게시물을 통해 이 모델이 오픈AI(OpenAI)와 메타(Meta) 등 미국 거대 기술 기업들이 선호하는 데이터 중심 접근 방식을 우회할 수 있는 새로운 패러다임을 제시한다고 밝혔다.
현재 월드 모델 분야는 데이터 중심 방식, 메타의 V-JEPA 자기주도 학습 시스템, 3차원 모델링 등 세 가지 주요 패러다임이 주도하고 있다.
