AFA proíbe pisar na bola e estabelece cartão amarelo

A Associação de Futebol Argentino (AFA) proibiu na quarta-feira que jogadores em torneios locais pisem na bola durante as partidas, penalizando a ação com cartão amarelo e tiro livre indireto para os adversários. A decisão ocorreu após uma jogada de Julián Palacios durante a partida de sábado entre Unión e Estudiantes. A AFA considera o ato como conduta antidesportiva que gera conflitos e riscos.

A Direção Técnica da AFA anunciou a regra após a derrota do Unión por 2 a 1 para o Estudiantes, na qual Palacios pisou na bola.

"Isso decorre de uma conduta específica que tem causado distúrbios no ambiente de jogo. Essa prática, que gera confrontos generalizados, prejudica significativamente a imagem de um esporte com amplo alcance nacional e internacional", declarou a AFA em seu comunicado.

A entidade também observou o risco de lesão para o jogador e as interrupções nas partidas. "Existem várias circunstâncias em que um jogador deve ser advertido com cartão amarelo por conduta antidesportiva, incluindo demonstrar falta de respeito ao espírito do futebol", justificaram.

A regra segue um precedente brasileiro de 5 de abril, quando a Confederação Brasileira de Futebol impôs a mesma penalidade por "falta de respeito ao futebol", aplicada na partida do Campeonato Sul-Americano Sub-17 entre Brasil e Bolívia.
